Artist: Sev Statik
Album: Tha Point Man EP
Label: Sev3 Productions
Year: 1998

Sev Statik comes out with his new quadruple single. The first song, "Speak Life", starts out with a nice piano loop that repeats throughout the song. This really adds to the overall effect of the song.

My favourite track is the last one. In "Rebuild", Sev talks about life. He comes in with lines like: "I profess faith that everything gonna be aiight / and when the next man says 'yo, you rhyme good for being white' / I wont take it as disrespect I understand / we all got something to learn from the next man and receive from Gods hand."

I liked this tape because Sev came through with some originality and with some meaningful lyrics. He shows that a white man can make it in hip hop, so with this said support the underground and look out for Sev Statik.
